FORWARD THINKING GUIDANCE

Our mentoring programmes pass on knowledge and experience to help others accelerate their own learning and improve their performance. Consequently the business gets better results. Whilst directive in style we also deploy coaching tools and techniques where appropriate. Our mentoring is supportive and encouraging but will also challenge current thinking, offering alternative perspectives to drive learning and performance improvement. Our mentoring is objective driven and action focused. We create clear actions to meet clear business and personal objectives. We start with a conversation to understand the sponsor’s objectives and finish with a session to ensure we have achieved them.

WHO DO WE MENTOR?

Given our specialist expertise we focus on:

  • Leaders - board members, directors, new roles (leaders in transition) and aspiring leaders

  • Highly numerate individuals - data scientists and analysts (marketing and credit risk) as well as finance specialists and commercial roles

Mentoring

OUR MENTORING PROGRAMME

We start with our standard programme and then tailor it to your individual needs following a consultation. Our standard programme features are as follows:

  • Six month initial programme - can be extended or shortened where required

  • Sessions are remote/virtual using Zoom (or alternative client technology)with optional meetings in person

  • Up front sponsor session to discuss organisational context, what you want to achieve and how we will work together

  • Chemistry session with mentoree

  • 12 x sessions are held approximately once a fortnight (up to 60 minutes per session)

  • During the mentoring programme reasonable support is provided by phone/email on an ad-hoc basis as requested

  • At the end of the programme we hold a debrief between the coach, the mentoree and the sponsor to review achievements
