Our coaching programmes provide support, challenge and create an appropriate environment to enable leaders, aspiring leaders and specialists to tackle issues and take opportunities. Coaching from North Peak is predominantly non-directive, it is about helping individuals achieve their potential, it is not about teaching them. It is objective driven and action focused. Individuals will create their own actions to meet their own objectives, whilst the coach ensures the programme delivers the intended improvement. We start with a conversation to understand the sponsor’s objectives and finish with a session to ensure we have achieved them.

People are without doubt one of the biggest assets to companies and one of the biggest costs. When people perform businesses perform. The impact people can generate from high performance increases when they lead others. Leaders are often incredibly busy which creates interference in their own thinking and prioritisation. At North Peak we work with you to remove the interference and help you think wider and deeper, creating an environment for leaders and aspiring leaders to do some of their best work. WHO DO WE COACH?

As our testimonials demonstrate we coach a wide range of business people from those in the creative industry to master coaches in sport. Given our expertise we specialise in the following areas:

  • Leaders - board members, directors, new roles (leaders in transition) and aspiring leaders

  • Highly numerate individuals - data scientists and analysts (marketing and credit risk) as well as finance specialists and those in commercial roles

OUR COACHING PROGRAMME

Our standard programme structure is shown below, this can be tailored to meet your requirements following a consultation:

  • Six month programme - can be extended or shortened where required

  • Sessions are remote/virtual using Zoom (or alternative client technology) with optional meetings in person

  • Up front sponsor session to discuss organisational context, what you want to achieve and how we will work together

  • Chemistry session with coachee followed by:

    • Optional - 360 degree feedback option using third party technology

    • Optional - ‘Public goals’ session with coach, coachee and sponsor

    • Coachee pre work to consider their goals for the programme, utilising output above and/or a reflective questions exercise provided by North Peak

  • 6 x Coaching sessions are then held approximately once a month (up to 90 minutes per session), additional tools may be deployed to aid further development (for example emotional intelligence or leadership style reviews)

  • At the end of the programme we hold a debrief between the coach, the coachee and the sponsor to review achievements
